Kenny's Connection

Kenny's Connection is a non-profit organization that was founded following the tragic loss of, Kenneth Peter Griffin. In his short life, and primarily over
the last two years of his life, Kenny was reaching out and connecting with Autistic children. Having spent a significant amount of time with his best
friend's brother, Kyle who is Autistic; volunteering at a local dance studio (specializing in children with Autism and related developmental disorders);
and participating in the Walk for Autism, we felt inspired to carry-out Kenny's efforts and in some way we hope he will live on through our efforts.

In brief, our mission is to assist families with retaining treatements/treatment plans available that are either not covered by insurance and/or cost
prohibitive - as well as any other services or tools that will improve the quality of life and learning for their child. Kenny's Connection subsidise the
cost of some of these services one buddy at a time. Each year we select a child with Autism from our community and apply all proceeds raised at our
annual bike run to those services and tools that DO improve the quality of life and learning for our buddy.

Our buddy in 2007, Kyle, has and continues to benefit from the funds we raised at your First Annual Motorcycle Run in August 2008. After expenses,
Kenny's Connection applies 75% of the proceeds raised to our "Bike Run Buddy". The remaining 25% is allocated toward recurring expenses, like
our website and marketing. Kenny's Connection is a volunteer only organization - none of our volunteers, corporate officers, or directors receive any
income from the funds raised - there is no payroll. All of the money we raise is used to maintain our mission and our motto: Identifying - Evaluating -
Connecting . . . One Buddy at a Time!

Kenny’s Connection was specifically established to reach out to families of children with ASDs (Autism Spectrum Disorder) within Tiverton, Rhode
Island and surrounding East Bay communities by providing those families with assistance to obtain cost prohibitive therapies that prove to be quite
effective in developing the communication and mobility skills of a child with Autism.

Kenny’s Connection is a small organization making a big difference within the lives of individual families within our community. The larger
organizations have all they can do to attack this growing epidemic on a global level, let’s leave them to the global challenges and join together as a
community and help ourselves.

The growing rate of Autism is an epidemic and there just isn’t enough reach into the smaller communities and that is where Kenny’s Connection
intends to make a difference – one buddy, one family, one community at a time.
